Utilize MSDI’s online forms, allowing your training center to benefit from real-time data analysis. This includes monitoring the health status of dogs, evaluating work procedures, and improving overall efficiency.
Accreditation Program Eligibility:

After at least 12 months in the Candidacy Program, you will be eligible to apply for the prestigious MSDI Accreditation Program.
Threshold Requirements:

Be an active MSDI member.

Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience and experience with at least 10 service dogs.

Certification as a service dog trainer with a minimum of 350 hours, including theoretical and practical lessons.

Provide 5 recommendation letters from clients and commit to MSDI’s professional standards.

Participate in interviews, pass theoretical and practical exams as part of the candidacy process.

Pay the non-refundable application fee after the initial meeting with the candidacy program director.

Examiner Program Eligibility:

Accredited members who meet the additional criteria can apply to become MSDI examiners, further establishing their authority in the field.
Threshold Requirements:

Be an active member in the Candidacy Program for at least 12 months.

Have at least 5 years of professional experience and experience with at least 20 service dogs.

Certification as a service dog trainer with a minimum of 550 hours, including both theoretical and practical lessons.

Provide 10 recommendation letters and pass a rigorous assessment process including interviews, theoretical and practical exams.

Pay the non-refundable application fee after the initial meeting with the accreditation program manager.

Testing and Evaluation:

Qualified to conduct public access tests in accordance with MSDI standards, ensuring that service dogs are properly evaluated for their roles.
Threshold Requirements:

Must have completed the Candidacy and Accreditation Programs.

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience and experience with at least 50 service dogs.

Certification as a service dog trainer with a minimum of 1,000 hours of training.

Successfully pass theoretical and practical exams, and undergo a multi-day evaluation by MSDI representatives.
